Ileshazi man's feast

Dear fans of history, the Dubnica Museum cordially invites you to the 4th annual historical event Ilešháziovská manorial feast in Dubnický manor house on Saturday, August 15, 2020. A rich program will be prepared with swordsmen, theater, dancers, musicians, puppeteers, falconers and archers, archers on horses.

The program begins at 10.00 am with a period procession through the city. Contemporary crafts such as a blacksmith, candle holder, mint, bag maker, period hygiene, archery, conquering a straw castle, games and competitions for children, falconers, fencing demonstrations and class dance lessons await you in Ján Baltazár Magin Park until 18:00. You can also ride a horse, in a carriage or witness the Gaston de Camarque Knights 'Tournament and the Normans Knights' Tournament with a new fun story and a terrifying dragon.

In the courtyard of the manor house, fencing - theater scenes, period dances, cauldrons, craftsmen on stilts, period cuisine with tastings according to preserved recipes, as well as period music are prepared from 10 am. During lunch, you can try traditional šutelica to commemorate the anniversary of the famine in Dubnica. From 6 pm, a gala program of the best performances will take place in the courtyard of the manor house, which will end with a fire show.
