The character of tinkerer in literature

The exhibition entitled "The Character of the Tinker in Literature" presents approximately 220 literary works of Slovak and Czech origin. The oldest documents are from the field of dramatic art and were created in the first third of the 19th century. An interesting collection of numerous editions of the novella Mountain Village by the author Božena Němcová, who was inspired by the true story of the tinsmith Ján Gálik from Kolárovice. The exhibition is enriched with illustrations from periodical press and presented documents.
