Crafts unite us

The festival of friendship, good mood and skillful hands will bring a rich program to the Cherry Orchard in Brezin and the South Fortification of Trenčín Castle!

The Trenčín self-governing region, the city of Trenčín, the Trenčín museum, KOCR Trenčín region and the city of Bučovice joined forces and prepared a day full of experiences and tastes for you.

What can you look forward to?

- You will taste regional products from artisans and fruit growers from the surroundings of Trenčín and Bučovice

- You will get to know the traditional crafts of our ancestors. You will try basketry, spinning, blacksmithing, tinkering and many other crafts

- In the Cherry Orchard, children can enjoy a journey through a fairy-tale forest with fairy-tale characters, workshops and face painting

- In the South Fortification, you will be entertained at the historic craft market by Porro castle jester, horse-non-horse knight duel, period dances, fencing and historical archery.

To top it all off, you can comfortably take the "Matúš Čák" train to Trenčín Castle, which will run on this occasion for a discounted price of €2.50

from 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. historical archery demonstrations with the opportunity to try shooting a bow. Performances will take place in the South Fortification of Trenčín Castle.
