27. MARIKOV FOLKLORE FESTIVAL

The Marikov Folklore Festival is one of the most successful and sought-after events not only for the inhabitants of the Marikov Valley, but also for the general professional and lay public of Považie, Slovakia and Moravia. Every year visitors to Horná Mariková are attracted by a unique authentic atmosphere. With the program of the most successful folklore groups from the region, as well as other localities in Slovakia, we will offer visitors to the 27th MFS artistic values of original and various stylization stages of processed dance, music-singing and customary folklore material. In addition to the main program, the festivities will be complemented by exhibitions, creative workshops and competitions for children, folk craftsmen, presentations of traditional dishes and interesting old recipes and equipment of Marikovská drevenica. The spectator delicacy of this year's festivities will undoubtedly be FS Železiars with a program performance of IT'S ONE, IT'S TWO, OR THREE. The combination of the qualities of the author Vlad Urban in choreography, spirited dancers and singers accompanied by folk music promises an unforgettable experience.
