Exhibition ČVÍKOTÁRI

The Dubnice Museum in Dubnice nad Váhom and the Heritage Museum in Považská Bystrica invite you to visit the exhibition ČVÍKOTÁRI, which will be open from August 23 to November 12, 2023 in the Dubnice Manor.

In the 19th century, birdwatching was seen as a characteristic occupation of Slovaks. Birds were caught for own consumption, but mainly for the sale of ornamental birds and birds intended for consumption.
