Inspired by tradition - craft creative workshops

The Považ awareness center in Považská Bystrica invites the public to creative workshops within the project "Culture of man, culture of society". The aim of this initiative is primarily to preserve and spread traditional craft techniques.

The first of the planned workshops focused on ceramics - on 16.11. is intended for students of the United School in Dubnice nad Váhom. The other two workshops will welcome every visitor in the premises of the Považské awareness center in Považská Bystrica (SPŠ building).

You can learn the craft of basket making on Wednesday 29.11 with lecturer Zuzana Briestenská from 14.00. If you are attracted by blue printing and learn something more about its production, Peter Trnka will bring you his experience and knowledge of this technique on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 3 p.m.
