100 years of Trenčín liqueur / exhibition at the castle /

The ground floor in the barracks building at Trenčín Castle will become an exhibition space presenting Trenčín liqueurs for several months. The exhibition is open from Friday 30 April 2021 and will last until 15 September 2021. It will not only introduce visitors to the distilling industry and their products, but will also notice the fates of exceptional people who worked in liqueurs and left their energy in them.

The vast majority of information panels are dedicated to the history of liqueurs and allow the visitor to get to know their story. The panels complement items from the collection of OLD HEROLD, which seeks to preserve their historical legacy and give their story the seriousness they deserve. Visitors will be able to meet the theme of the exhibition before entering the barracks, where they will be attracted by a period vehicle that could get the famous Juniperus pine from Trenčín into the world.

The program of the exhibition will be governed by epidemiological measures, in the optimal case we will prepare guided tours for visitors.
