Trenčín Castle will be on 3.9. 2021 in cooperation with the civic association Kolomaž to host the music festival Cultural Event (edition of contemporary experimental music).
The program of the festival Cultural Event will take place on two stages in the exterior of Trenčín Castle. The intention is to offer spectators a meeting of various musical genres of contemporary experimental, electronic and alternative music in the magical atmosphere of Trenčín Castle.
The name KUltúrne Podujatie was created by combining the words cultural event, as a term that is almost no longer used and the big KU is inspired by the Russian sci-fi film Kin-Dza-Dza! (1986). The original goal of the Cultural Event project was to revive the urban space of the city from the castle, through the whole center, and to create a traditional city festival.
