To life and to death

On 19.6. - 20.6.2021 The group of historical fencing Ursus will perform at Trenčín Castle, which will show examples of fencing and, accompanied by period music, will acquaint visitors with the life of the period army in the Renaissance.

The program during Saturday and Sunday is as follows:

11.30 - Demonstrations of fencing in the amphitheater in the lower courtyard

12.30 - Period music in the southern fortifications

14.30 - Period army in the amphitheater in the lower courtyard

15.00 - Period music in the southern fortifications

16.30 - Demonstrations of fencing in the amphitheater in the lower courtyard

Visitors will be able to look into the period camp during both days and, if interested, they will receive an expert explanation of the weapons. During both days, there will also be falconry performances by the Aquila group from Bojnice, at 10.30, 13.30 and 15.30.

Please note that due to the epidemiological measures resulting from the COVID AUTOMATIC, it will be necessary to provide telephone or e-mail contact when entering the castle grounds.
