Ileshazi man's feast

The Dubnica Museum in Dubnice nad Váhom cordially invites all fans of history, entertainment and period festivities to the 5th year of the historical event Ilešháziovské panské feast in Dubnický kaštiel, which will take place on Saturday, August 14, 2021.

There will be a rich program with swordsmen, theatergoers, dancers, musicians, ponytails, falconers, archers, craftsmen and a knights' tournament on horses. The event begins at 10.00 am with a period procession through the city. From 10.00 am to 6.00 pm in the Ján Baltazár Magin Park, period crafts await you, such as a blacksmith, candlestick, mint, bag maker, period hygiene, archery, conquering a straw castle, games and competitions for children, falconers, fencing demonstrations and classical dance lessons. . You can ride a horse or a carriage and also witness the Knight's Tournament of Gaston and the Knight's Tournament of Normans with their new fun story Journey to Merkenland with other adventure stories of the four knights.

In the courtyard of the manor house, fencing - theater scenes, period dances, cauldrons, craftsmen on stilts, period cuisine with tastings according to preserved recipes, as well as period music are prepared from 10 am. During lunch, you can taste the shellfish as a reminder of the famine with which the city waged a relentless struggle in 1817.

From 18.00 you can watch the gala program of the best performances in the courtyard of the manor house, which will end with a fire show.
