International cycling race Around Slovakia

On Wednesday, September 13, 2023, the 67th edition of the International Cycling Race "Around Slovakia" starts. The race route consists of 5 stages that lead cyclists across Slovakia, while the last 2 stages do not bypass the Trenčín region and its attractions.

You can meet cycling stars this weekend in two cities of the Trenčín region. The 4th stage will start in Prievidza and the finish line of the final, 5th stage and thus the overall evaluation of the race will be located in Púchov, which will be accompanied by an interesting cultural program. Spectators can look forward to a concert by Petr Cmorík, cycling exhibitions, regional art ensembles and stands of partners, including the regional tourism organization Trenčín region.

You can take part in the accompanying event "Energy on Wheels" right at the starting and finishing points. This will give you the opportunity to ride one of the selected routes around the stage cities. There will be a choice of short tracks for families with children, but also more demanding tracks. It is important to complete the selected route by September 25, 2023 and scan the QR code at the start and end of the route into the GoSlovakia application. By participating in Energy on wheels, you will contribute your traveled kilometers to a symbolic circumnavigation of the Earth and will be entered into a draw.
