Beckov Castle

Beckov Castle is happy to welcome all holidaymakers. For this reason, they have adjusted the opening hours and in the period from 28.2 - 11.3.2022 the castle gates will be open not only on weekends, but also daily from 9.00 to 16.00. In addition to the beautiful castle and the dragon Blundus, period games and various creative activities will be prepared for visitors.

Trenčín Castle changes the opening hours from 1.3.2022 and will be accessible not only on weekends, but also daily from 9.00 to 17.00.

Bojnice Castle

From March 1, Bojnice Castle will be open to the public daily except Monday from 10:00 to 15:00. It offers the possibility of a tour of the Castle Circuit, which will take you through the residential parts of the last aristocratic owner, the individual floors of the Central Castle as well as the natural cave below the castle. The tours take place individually, without groups and lectures.

Seagull lookout tower in the clouds

The Čajka lookout tower in the clouds has become the new landmark of Bojnice. It is located just above the town and has a picturesque view of the Rudnian basin, Bojnice.

Spring break on the farm Uhliská

At the Uhliská v Nemšová farm, they prepared an all-day horse program for children during the spring holidays. Children's horse lovers can spend 1 or up to 3 days full of fun in the company of horses. They will learn the basics of care and breeding, they take a riding lesson every day, in practice they try to clean the horses, prepare for riding, sitting, enjoy a ride on horseback accompanied by instructors.

Starry holidays

The Regional Cultural Center in Prievidza and the Partizánske Observatory have prepared an offer for kindergarten children during the spring holidays on March 7-11, 2022 - the opportunity to visit the Astronarium (inflatable digital planetarium).

The children will see the film "About an Extraordinary Star" in the astronary. It's the story of a star looking for planets on a journey through space. With it, children get to know the different types of stars that make up the Milky Way, our galaxy. They will be there when it finally manages to find its own planetary system and learn interesting information about each planet.

SKIING:

Ski Čertov Janorníky

The Ski Čertov Javorníky ski resort is located at the end of the village of Lazy - Čertov, which is located in the Javorníky Mountains, in the Kysuce Protected Landscape Area on the Slovak - Moravian border. In the resort with an altitude of 600 - 900 m above sea level, there are seven slopes suitable for beginners and advanced skiers. The ski resort currently reports very good skiing conditions and is happy to welcome all skiers during the holidays. However, as the weather cannot be predicted well enough, it is necessary to find out the current skiing conditions in advance.
