Universe through the eyes of children 2019

Do your children love drawing and are fascinated by space themes? Great! This competition is made just for them.

The competition will take place in two stages:

Stage 1 - District rounds (catchment area)

Stage 2 - World Tour

Terms of Competition:

You will compete in five categories:

1st Category - Kindergartens

2nd category - 0. - 4th year of elementary school

3rd category - 5th - 9th year of elementary school

Category 4 - basic arts schools, preparatory study of elementary school and 0. - 4. year of elementary school

5th category - basic art schools - 5th - 9th year of elementary school

Drawings processed with any technique of maximum A2 format can be sent to the competition. (Works that do not meet the specified size or type (3D) will be excluded from the contest)

You must attach a completed form to the back. (The work will be categorized according to these specifications, so in case of incorrect filling the responsibility does not belong to the organizer) Each work must be marked with a school stamp, while the school can send up to 10 works from one category. Only the work of individuals will be evaluated in the competition.

Drawings become the property of the advertiser.

The three-member jury will be selected by the district jury (three members, with the chairperson of Šumava from Pardubice Primary School) from each category of 5 works and the district wheel organizer (Partizánsky Hvězdáren) will deliver them to the list of participating schools until 31 March 2019 in Slovak Central Observatory in Hurbanov. The meeting of the jury is scheduled for April 12, 2019.

An exhibition of winning and selected works of the Czech national round will be installed at the premises of the Slovak Central Observatory in Hurbanov and then according to the requirements in the astronomical and cultural facilities in Slovakia. The virtual exhibition will be available at www.suh.sk.

Works that have not been evaluated in the district round will not be included in the national round.
