Harvest festival in Turej Lúka 2021

The town of Myjava cordially invites you to an event of traditional folk culture called Dožinky in Tura Lúka - a thank you for the harvest, which, despite the initial uncertainty, will finally take place this year as well. This is during the weekend of August 14 and 15, 2021. Harvest festival is again prepared for you by the non-profit organization Development of Tourism of Myjava Kopanice in cooperation with the municipality, the Center of Traditional Culture in Myjava, the Turá Lúka Hunting Association and the Property Administration of Myjava. The implementation of the event is supported by the Fund for the Support of the Arts and the Trenčín Self-Governing Region. And what can you look forward to within Dožinky?

Saturday's program will start on Saturday at 10.00 am with the Harvest Fair, a concert of wind music Myjavci and a tasting of regional specialties Jak od grandmy. At the same time, activities will begin in the Padelka recreation area. There will be a traditional playground, a mini farm and an exhibition of historical and contemporary agricultural machinery.

At 10.30 you will be able to see examples of traditional field work submitted by members of FSk Kýčer from Turej Lúka and FS Kopa from Myjava. This zone will be called Kosí Jano, threshing Palo and will be enriched with a mowing competition, in which the visitors of Dožinky themselves can also take part. From 11:00, the program will continue with children's creative workshops and Gourmet Feast directed by Turoluc hunters. Shortly after noon, at 12.15 pm, young visitors will be able to try the School of Singing and Dancing. At 1 pm, representatives of the Center for Traditional Culture in Myjava will present awards for their contribution to the development of traditional culture, and fifteen minutes later the stage in Padelky will belong to the Kopaničiar Folklore Ensemble, the Kopaničiarik Children's Folklore Ensemble and the Šulekovo z Hlohovk Folklore Group. av tanci hybkí.

At 2.30 pm the local folklorists will start preparing the harvest harvest and later, at 3.00 pm, they will be escorted to the Gazdovsky court to hand them over to the farm and have an old house - a traditional feast after finishing work in the field. From 4.00 pm, musicians from FSk Šulekovo and Myjavská heligónky will win in Gazdovské dvor. Saturday's offer will be closed by the Harvest Festival in Padelky with Kopaničiar, which will start at 7 pm.

The harvest will officially end on Sunday, August 2, at 9.30 am with the Services of God in the Evangelical Church of God in Tura Luka. It will be a harvest festival celebrating the thanks for the harvest, in which FS Brezová will also take part.
