The third section of the Vážská Cyklomagistrala built in a row feeds on the already existing cycle route between Horná Streda and Nový Mesto nad Váhom. It was built in a shorter time than planned by the county.

Construction work on the cycle route began in June this year and was completed on the last day of November. To build it, the region used funds from the Integrated Regional Operational Program (IROP), while the project itself co-financed 5%. "The cost of building a 21.2-kilometer-long cycle route is 4.24 mil. eur. The bike path includes 3 rest areas with shelters, a table and benches. At one rest stop there is also a bicycle stand and an information panel. There is also additional furniture and two traffic counters on the route, " said Martina Lamačková, Head of the Department of Regional Development at the TSK Office.

The new cycle route will significantly contribute to the promotion of safe and ecological transport in the region. Thanks to the connection of industrial parks in Novo Mesto nad Váhom and Trenčín, residents of adjacent municipalities will be able to commute to work by bicycle. "Currently, we are waiting for the end of the approval procedure, after which the public will be able to use the cycle route," added Lamačková.
