Lookout towers are one of the most popular tourist destinations for families with children.

You can usually get to them along marked trails and the reward in the form of beautiful views will please even those who do not really want to go hiking. Another tourist attraction has grown up in the Partizánske district. You can see the magical hill Tribeč from the new lookout tower on Chotenovec. From a height of 16 meters you can enjoy a rich menu of views - in addition to the aforementioned Tribeč, you can also see Marhát, Považský Inovec, Skýcovské bralá, Jankov vŕšok, Rokoš, villages around Bánovce nad Bebravou, Mitice or even Drietom. "During the forty-five-minute walk to the lookout tower, the children, the little heroes, can save the fairy-tale kingdom. After reading the QR codes, they put together online puzzles or listen to a riddle, ”invites Zuzana Dolná from a civic association, which had the lookout tower built, for a family trip.

The fastest way to get here is from Klížske Hradište. It takes the aforementioned 45 minutes along the locally marked road from Veľký Klíž, even with children. "More able tourists can also get here from Brodzian, Kolačno, Partizánské, but part of the route is not marked there," said Zuzana Dolná.
