Tracks of traditional countryside

Find the image of the cultural - natural scenery through the author 's exhibition by Jakub Cíbik . The exhibition, entitled Traditional Country Tracks, shows the remnants of a typical White Carpathian landscape through more than 40 large-format photographs. The photographer has focused on preserved folk architecture, fruit orchards, narrow fields or grazing herds, as well as people who care for the local landscape. The images map images from 2012 to 2016 and aim to point to the importance of protecting seemingly ordinary territories. The opening of the exhibition will take place on Wednesday , July 6, 2016 at 3:30 pm at the Trenčín Museum in Trenčín . The works of Jakub Cíbika can be seen from 6 July to 31 August 2016 . European Championship in Majorette Sports

Púchov will become the European Championship in Majorette Sport from July 7, 2016 . The event will be attended by 4,000 participants from 12 European countries . This exceptional sports event will start at 9.00 am opening ceremonies and culminate on Sunday 10 July 2016 at 16.30 . During these days there will be competitions in different age categories. The organizer of the event is the Association of Majorette Sports Slovakia, the World Majorette Federation, the town of Púchov, the Leisure Center Včelka and the event also supports the regional organization of tourism Trenčín region . Holiday creative workshops

The Považská Osvobození Center in Považská Bystrica, in the founding area of the Trenčín Self-Governing Region, prepared for the first days of summer holidays creative workshops aimed at expanding fantasy, skill and creativity. Various activities are devoted to children from 7 to 12 years of age. Young creators will be able to work with different materials, art techniques, and as a result will take the finished product in the form of a batik t-shirt or a picture of ceramics. Festival Pohoda

From 7th to 9th July 2016 , you can enjoy the 20th annual festival that combines alternative music, electronics, world music, punk with classics, literature, dance and various types of visual or other art. The Pohoda Festival this weekend will offer space in the Trencin area not only for a musical concert, but also for an opportunity to meet different cultures and world views. The first year of this multi-genre festival was played by 8 bands on one stage. Last year's Pohode performed 129 performances on 20 scenes with the representation of 29 countries of the world. The bout of the 20th year will be the British band Prodigy . At the festival you can visit the presentation stand of the regional tourism organization Trenčín region . Movie Summer on the Square

During the holiday months from July to August, the Freedom Square in Prievidza will be changed every Friday to an open-air cinema. The town of Prievidza in cooperation with the Cultural and Social Center in Prievidza prepared a free summer film screening. The public can soar at night in the center of the city on Friday night. Cyrilometodic celebrations in the village of Cimenna

Competition for goulash cooking and celebration of the 695th anniversary of the village

On Saturday, July 9, 2016, the village of Udiča will host the 4th year of the goulash cooking contest. From 10.00 h , 3-member cooperatives will meet the Udoci General Authority to try to prepare the best goulash. In addition to the culinary contest, the celebration of the 695th anniversary of the first written mention of the village of Udic will be held on 9-10 July 2016 . On this occasion under the auspices of the Trenčín self-governing region , the municipality of Udída prepared a cultural program, entertainment attractions for children or refreshment stalls. Saturday celebrations begin with the Holy Mass in the Church of St. Matthew, the apostle and the evangelist at 9.00 and Sunday morning will belong to the sport.
