This Saturday, June 18, 2016, at 11.00 pm , the 2nd annual multi-genre event - the Bojnice summer solstice , organized by the regional tourism organization REGION HORNÁ NITRA - BOJNICE, will be held in Bojnice to highlight the potential of tourism in this famous and popular tourist destination.

The program will select all groups of visitors. The dance groups XOANA, Fantastic - Elko Prievidza, TS Dáriusa Štrba at the Art School in Bojnice, TS Mimikry, Viery Nedeliakova Dance School, Bojnická band music, SUBINA drums, Louiziana country group, 5play, folk music by Ľuboš Hrdý and Spevácky Vol. Sv. Martina.

This year, the organizers have prepared a lot of news . New publications about the Upper Nitra region - the Horná Nitra photo book from Heaven and the Tourist guide of Prievidza and its surroundings - will be presented. Visitors can dance in the square with professional dancers, and children together with curious parents will look for treasure . Evening program Ej Jáne, Vajane will create an impressive atmosphere of the Holy Mountain traditions by singing, dances, magical rites and fires. The whole program will end the Fire Show.

Throughout the day, the atmosphere will be enriched by folk artists and craftsmen . There will also be no gastronomic specialties of all kinds, from cakes, regional dishes to baked piglets and quality beverages.

In addition to the main summer solstice program at Hurbanovo Square, visitors can also take advantage of side activities. At the Bojnice Chateau there will be a fairy tale, the guests and the home guests can choose to a new terrace, which is in the forest above the Bojnice Castle and above the Calvary, where they have a unique view of the entire Prievidza basin. In Sebedraží will take place on 6 June 2016 from 15.00 h the 6 th annual Sebestská babka in Bean and in Ruden Nitra will take place a big concert of popular music.

The event was organized by the member cities of the regional tourism organization HORNÁ NITRA - BOJNICE, the Slovak Tourism Agency, the regional tourism organization Trenčín region, the Regional Cultural Center of Prievidza and the Bojnice Cultural Center. Nadace Jaroslav Baška, Chairman of Trenčiansky samosprávny kraj, took over the event.
