Chata pod Ostrým vrchom lies on the border of Považský Inovec and Strážovské vrchy at an altitude of 482 m above sea level. Some time ago, he got a second breath thanks to a complete recovery.

The history of the cottage dates back to the war period, specifically to 1942, when the city of Trenčín began its construction. It followed the project of Alexander Maráky, while the first visitors were welcomed under Ostrý vrch two years later. At that time, there was also a road more than a kilometer to the mountain hut. The cottage changed owners several times, it was even closed for some time. The reconstruction changed in 2016, which gave it a new impetus.

The complete renovation, ie from the foundations to the roof, included the reconstruction of the heating, all wiring, but also the rooms. New sanitary facilities were added to them, which had not been there before.

The cottage is mainly sought after by tourists and cyclists. There are a large number of hiking trails in the area, such as Inovec or Ostrý vrch, but also other interesting places that are worth visiting. The charm of this region is discovered not only by Slovaks, but also by people from abroad - especially from Bohemia and Moravia.
