The peaks of the 2 nd year of the Vrchárska koruny of Trenčianska have chosen the public and it has not been easy at all. Among this year's challenges were demanding and high hills like Magura or Vtáčnik. Up to 140 participants were able to crush them, surprised families with children and a pregnant mother.

The project of Vrchárska koruna Trenčianska (VKT), which drew from Czech to Slovakia the trio of enthusiasts Radoslav Tilandy, Michal Barták and Pavol Babica, started its second year of April 10, 2017 in a nearly 50-member composition by a night out at Beckov Castle. In the new year, the athletes offered twenty highs, outlooks, hills, castles, and monuments , which were a guarantee of splendid views, but their efforts required a great deal of effort. Compared to the previous year, a portfolio of experiences for cyclists, runners and hikers was extended, and the organizers also involved families with children and tourists with dogs. In order to evaluate the demanding year, the participants met for the second time on the premises of the Trenčiansky samosprávny kraj.

In addition to the VKT Bike and VKT Run & Walk & Dog categories, the VKT Non-Stop Extreme Races were also part of the Crown for the first time. "Everyone involved in the rally had to go through all 20 peaks, 555 km and almost 14 thousand. height meters within a time limit of 140 hours. These extreme criteria, despite the weather, managed to meet the 7 participants headed by Ales Melicharik, "one of the organizers VKT Radoslav Tilandy said.
