FRIDA MUSICAL Love and paint

Get ready for an unforgettable experience. Experience the life story of the legendary Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, full of passion, love, humor, captivating music, playful costumes and dance.

The performance, which will draw you into the extraordinary story of colors and life rehearsals of an exceptional artist, will take place on Saturday, August 7, 2021 in the Kursalon in Trenčianske Teplice as part of the 75th annual Trenčianske Teplice Music Summer Festival. The performance starts at 7 pm.

The original Slovak musical Frida - Painting and Loving is the work of a team of authors Rudolf Geri, Daniel Hevier and Karol Vosátko. The life and work of the eccentric painter Frida Kahlo and her life partner Diego Rivera are also attractive to our time for the universality of the message. The authors of this work focused on the depth of ideas and the inner message, which was also the basic content for the Oscar-winning film Frida Kahlo with the charming Salma Hayek. Soloists and dancers in beautiful colorful costumes accompanied by fantastic music with a live orchestra will show you a celebration of the untamed life of one of the most important painters of the 20th century.
