Opening of branches of the Trenčín Museum

The Trenčín Museum in Trenčín, under the founding authority of the Trenčín self-governing region, has reopened its branches to the public.

Trenčín Castle has been open to visitors since Sunday, November 15, 2020. It is open every day from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. The last possibility to buy tickets for the castle is at 4.45 pm.

Visitors will be able to tour the castle grounds as part of a small circuit without guides, ie separately with the castle plan, which they will receive at the box office at the entrance.

In addition to standard castle buildings, visitors will also see:

- a unique exhibition of pedal cars by car around the world,

- a completely new exhibition The Life of a Peasant,

- and a magnificent southern fortification with a functional replica of a trebuchet.

The following branches of the Trenčín Museum are open from Monday, November 16, 2020:

- County House (opening hours Monday - Friday, from 9.00 am - 4.30 pm)

- Birth house Ľ. Štúra and A. Dubček (opening hours Monday - Friday, from 8.00 am - 4.00 pm)

- Podjavorin Museum in Novo Mesto nad Váhom (opening hours Monday - Friday, from 8.00 am - 2.00 pm)

We open the mentioned branches, including Trenčín Castle, under strict hygienic measures, ie the entrance to the buildings (both indoors and outdoors) will be possible only with a drape, resp. another suitable alternative, using hand disinfection and keeping a distance of 2 meters.

Any changes will be updated on the website www.muzeumtn.sk, as well as on the social networks of the Trenčín Museum in Trenčín.
