This jubilee 20th anniversary of the Pohoda multi-genre festival was held at the airport in Trencin this weekend and its name reflects the real atmosphere at the festival. In addition to a good selection of performers and fine-tuned organizations, the weather was great for the whole weekend. As it is already on Pohoda habit, even this year the organizers reported a sold-out festival with a capacity of 30,000 visitors. The fact that this internationally known festival is also testifying to its rock fans is the fact that 3,500 tickets for the next year were sold during the festival.

According to founder and director of the event, Michal Kaščák was historically the best year. "This year's ranking is the best in history. The program that we were able to pick up was from a certain point of view ideal. The weather, production, service, and ease-of-use performance contributed positively. I do not remember a single year, during which we did not have one canceled performance. We have sold the festival, which is the dream of every promoter. "

A program full of cool names and interesting activities went on at the same time in 19 places, so everyone could really choose. The opening concert of this year's Pohoda took place on Thursday at 18.00 hrs by Milan Lasica and Bratislava Hot Serenaders and then continued entertainment until late hours. On Friday, the fun was in full swing, and the crowds of people moved between the tents and the podiums. During the second festival day, stars such as the Icelandic band Sigur Rós or Parov Stelar, who were the main fighter on Friday, performed. On the main stage their electro swing drew and danced with thousands of fans. The multi-genre of the festival was confirmed by the performance of the Dutch ballet Nederland Dans Theater 2 and the Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra from Ostrava. The last day of Pohoda were foreign stars such as Savages, Róisin Murphy, Flying Lotus, as well as Slovak and Czech artists such as David Koller and Jan Kirschner. The headliner of the whole event was British prodigy of electronic music The Prodigy, which was already performing on Pohoda twice. Again, an enormous amount of visitors drew. The band showed a breathtaking musical and light show that the dancing and jumping crowd of fans appropriately appreciated.

In addition to the musical program, the organizers have prepared many accompanying events in the form of workshops, lectures, theatrical performances and debates. Also this year, the festival area has been transformed into a large art gallery with many visual works and installations under the name Visual stage. A pleasant setting for relaxation was offered by a sunflower park with a piano or a sandy beach with parasols and beach chairs.

The organizers did not even forget about sports fans who had the opportunity to watch direct broadcasts from the Tour de France as well as football matches from the European Championships. Families with children could be made in the Family Park or Creative Zone. The event partners' stands offered different competitions and options as creative time use. One of the partners of the event was the Regional Tourism Organization (KOCR) Trenčín Region. "Our organization participated in Pohode for the first time. At the KOCR Trenčín Region, visitors could make a fun photo at a photo-studio, relax in the chillout zone, read newspapers from our workshop, or learn the interesting information about the Trenčín Region through a quiz, "said Executive Director Eva Fryvaldská.

The Pohoda Festival is one of the best festivals in Central Europe. The organizers increase the comfort of visitors every year and contribute to their comfort by providing refreshment stalls, ATMs, non-contact payment terminals, flushing toilets, hot water spouts, drinking water tanks, or even laundry services. KOCR Trenčín region is also added to those who believe that even the 21st annual festival will continue with the same tendency of quality selection of music, thorough organization and relaxed atmosphere.
