Owl night

Are you fascinated by owls, but have you never been able to see them live in nature? Go for an evening walk in the forest accompanied by an ornithologist and you might get lucky.

Owls are mysterious nocturnal creatures. Few people go into the forest at night, so most ordinary people almost never meet owls. Owl night is an ideal opportunity to get to owls, to walk in a group and without fear through the night forest and learn something useful about this group of animals. With a little luck and patience, we will observe several male owls flying through the night forest overhead. Owl nights are a unique experience even for children aged 8 and over. We are looking forward to you!

Where: Lesopark Brezina (Trenčín)

Meeting point: 4:30 p.m., parking lot at the Veverica hotel in the Brezina forest park

End: 6:30 p.m.

Difficulty: low (route length approx. 1.8 km)

What to take with you: a flashlight, very warm clothes, a lot of standing (!)
