The family of trains has grown

Have you ever ridden the red train? Popular tourist means of transport in the Trenčín region are also available in other places.

After last year's successful pilot project of the tourist train Matúš Čák, which transported up to 25,000 visitors to Trenčín Castle, this year a completely new, better train is available. A new feature compared to last year is the modified route, which consists of only one circuit. It starts at the Štúrov square near the Vodník fountain and continues across the square, through the Brezina forest park to the South Fortification of the Trenčín Castle and back. He started the season on May 8. In May and September, it will operate on weekends and holidays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. From June to August, visitors will be transported from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The family of red trains was expanded by the Spa train, which started the spa season in Trenčianske Teplice on May 1. It runs every half hour from the Church of St. Stefan. During the summer season, i.e. from June to August, it will be available to visitors of the spa town every day from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., on weekends from 10:00 a.m.

You can also use the Brezováčik tourist train to visit the burial mound on Bradla. It runs every hour from Námestia gen. MR Štefánik to Bradlo and will take you back to the center of Brezová pod Bradlo. The first starts at 9:35 a.m. from the square in Brezová pod Bradlo, and the last leaves at 6:00 p.m. from Bradlo.

The Báthory train will make your trip to Čachtice Castle more attractive. He already transported visitors during Easter. The route measures 3.5 km and has two stops - in the square and under the castle. You can follow the current information on the individual Facebook pages named after the trains.
