Marking, brand renewal, maintenance and installation of new rulers on hiking trails is also carried out this year on the basis of cooperation between the Trenčiansky samosprávny kraj and the Slovak Tourist Club. All work is done by qualified markers.

For the fourth year in Trenčín County, it has been contributing to the renewal and marking of new tourist signs . Of its budget, this year has also earmarked 20,000. euro for the Slovak Tourist Club, which ensures all the work through qualified markers . The members of the Slovak Tourist Club have already visited the forest paths in July this year to ensure the restoration of the marking and the safe navigation of all those who enjoy strolling in the wild. "In addition to the renewal of the brands, one new director was installed in the district of Prievidza, namely in the village of Kamenec pod Vtáčnikom. On all renewed sections, at the same time, the cleaning of walkways from the growing vegetation has been carried out, "said Eva Škutová, chairwoman of the Slovak Tourist Tour Club.

The marking has so far been restored to nearly 60 kilometers of hiking trails. By the end of autumn, the tourist marks should be restored to another 260 km of forest footpaths. "In addition to the branding work carried out, new rulers and tourist-information maps with a stand were produced, which will be planted between September and October 2018," added Škutová. She also added that rowing and restoring the markings depend mainly on the weather.
