During the summer, in July and August, a competition was held for the Most Village of Slovakia , which could involve municipalities from all over Slovakia. The competition was organized by Radio and Television of Slovakia (RTVS), which gradually introduced the mayors and residents of all participating municipalities. For each self-governing region, eight municipalities were represented, for which the audience then voted and decided which village would be the NAJ.
We are already familiar with the winner and we are pleased to announce that our Slovak village is one of the 276 towns and villages of the Trenčín region. The winner was the village of Tuchyňa in the district of Ilava, which spreads over 554.4 hectares and has 771 inhabitants.
We look forward to having another NAJ!
