On Thursday, February 27, 2020, a film entitled 24 Weeks, starting at 8 pm, will be screened in Živa: v active space within FK Kassandra. It is the story of the television comedian Astrid, who with her empathetic friend is expecting a child with Down syndrome and a heart defect and is considering whether to keep him despite a serious medical prognosis.
In her emotionally tense film, the author skillfully combines painful naturalism and gentle humor, and through a feminist perspective she speaks about man in the face of a frightening moral dilemma. The film was nominated for a Golden Bear, Berlinale 2016.
