Honey from Matúš's apiary

Already this weekend at Trenčín Castle you will learn more about the life of one of the smallest and most useful animals, bees. Expert lectures on beekeeping and the importance of bees will be provided by the Beekeeping Ecological Association - p. Bizoň together with p. Hodošek on Saturday and Sunday at 1.30 pm at the period apiaries at Trenčín Castle.

In the lower courtyard you will find stalls full of fragrant and tasty beekeeping products. A theatrical performance of Včielka Meliska by the Trenčín Municipal Theater is prepared for children. At the Jeremiah's Bastion, together with the bee and her friends, they will experience an adventure in which you will solve the mystery of the Colored Meadow. They will also get acquainted with the trumpet Tibor, the meadow horse Luky, the flea Barbora and there will also be the mayor of the horsetails, the butterfly Sebastián. They fall asleep with these friends and learn why bees are so important in nature and how to treat them.

In the southern fortifications, you have the opportunity to meet archers from the Vinedi group this weekend at the Archers at the Castle event. You can watch their unique program at 11.30 am, 2.30 pm and 4.30 pm. In the amphitheater you will also see falconry performances at 10.30 am, 1.30 pm and 3.30 pm performed by the group Aquila from Bojnice.
