For the new tourist season, the European Cultural Route of St. Cyril and Methodius are preparing a new outdoor activity together with their partners.

The project "Wandering without borders in the footsteps of Slavic heritage" includes unique monuments in western Slovakia (15 localities) and Moravia (17 localities), which are former Slavic forts and archeoparks, pilgrimage sites, sacral or other monuments. In the Trenčín region, the selected places are represented by the oldest pilgrimage site in Slovakia, Skalka pri Trenčíne, Trenčín Castle, Pobedim Fortress and Mesciská in Pružina. A card with quiz questions is created for each locality, a secret written in the original Slavic script - Glagolitic, which can be deciphered by the most skilled.

In the preparation of the activity, the regional tourism organization Trenčín region cooperates with the association European Cultural Route of St. Cyril and Methodius within the international project "Cyril and Methodius Road - Living Cultural Heritage" co-financed by the Interreg VA SK-CZ program and the Zlín Region.
