Morena, Morena and Papradňanské kubečko

Regional competitions MORENA, MORENA and PAPRADŇANSKÉ KUBEČKO, March 25, 2023 in KD in Papradno

The Považ Educational Center in Považská Bystrica is organizing two folklore competitions on Saturday, March 25 in the Culture House in Papradno. In the morning, at 9:30 AM , MORENA, MORENA will begin - the regional round of the 29th year of the national promotion competition and parade of children's folklore ensembles ENIKA BENIKA , where DFS Dúbravček from Plevník-Drienový, DFS Podžiaranček from Papradno and non-competing Samuel Klabník from Papradno will perform.

In the afternoon, from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. , the PAPRADŇANSKÉ KUBEČKO will be held - the regional round of the nationwide competition and musical folklore tour VIDIEČANOVA HABOVKA. Folk groups will be presented: Manínec from Podmanín, Limbora from Prečín, Praznovanka from Praznov, Dúbrava from Jasenica, Nimničanka from Nimnice, Podžiaran from Papradno, Bukoviny from Brvniště, Žrnovanka from Horná Mariková, folklore ensembles: FS Dúbravček from Plevník-Drienový, Považan from Považská Bystrica and other soloists from the region in the categories: folk music, singing groups, solo singers and instrumentalists.
