There are only less than three weeks left until the official opening of the HoryZonty Adventure Film Festival. The organizers have published the program, visitors can buy tickets in advance at KIC Trenčín or online.

During the three festival days, from Thursday 9th to Saturday 11th November 2023 , the audience in Trenčín's Crew Club can watch a total of 27 films with the theme of travel and various outdoor sports. The program includes films from 14 countries, eight of which will be shown at the Slovak premiere.

This year too, there will be no shortage of films from a mountaineering environment, but viewers will also be able to transport themselves to the mountains via paragliding or on skis. They will also look at how to run in the demanding conditions of Antarctica, or how to manage the 7,600-kilometer long crossing of Canada from the northernmost point to the southernmost point. There will be Slovak films, including Pavel Barabáš's film Veľký kaňon about rafting on three huge wild rivers of the world - Brahmaputra, Karnali and Colorado. Festival guests also confirmed their participation, among them courageous pensioner Gustáv Stibrányi, tuk-tuk traveler Tomáš Vejmola, runner Štefan Karak and meteorologist and athlete Alena Zárybnická.

The main program of the festival will begin on Thursday with an evening film block at 7 p.m. On Friday and Saturday, in addition to the evening blocks, there are also afternoon film blocks starting at 2:30 p.m.

Tickets for individual blocks, as well as the more affordable full-festival season ticket, can be purchased in advance until Wednesday 8 November 2023 at KIC Trenčín on Mierov námestí, another option is to buy tickets online via the TOOTOOT portal. From November 9, 2022, tickets to the festival can only be purchased at the cash desk of the Crew Club, one hour before the performance and during individual film blocks.
