The craft has a golden bottom

This year is Beck's big anniversary, 500 years since the expansion of market law. And on this occasion, Beckov Castle has prepared an event for you called The Craft Has a Golden Bottom.

In the lower courtyard you will discover several craft stalls, where master craftsmen will introduce you to the secrets of their traditional art. There is a pottery and wiring course for children and adults, as well as creative work with glass. For a fee, you can also make a candle from a bee plastic, and you can take out a commemorative coin with a Beck's motif in the blacksmith's workshop.

You can also look forward to a search game that will reveal the name of the first Beckov craftsman from the time of the famous Stibor from Stiborice.

In the past, Stibor's cuisine was also brewed, so various medieval specialties are prepared, which you will be able to taste throughout the weekend. The historical group Kompánia z Turca will be cooking for you, which will also show you examples of manorial dining in its period camp.

But that's not all. In the castle farm you will discover domestic animals and noble predators, while at 11.00 am, 3.00 pm and 5.00 pm a falconry performance is prepared. You can also look forward to guided tours, paintings by the famous Beckov painter Ladislav Mednyánszky, the exhibition Heraldic Beasts and the Dragon Blundus.
