This summer season, too, the journey to some cultural monuments in the Trenčín Region will be more attractive and especially easier. The popular red tourist trains deserve it. Several novelties are ready.

The family of red trains will be expanded by Vláčik Kúpelačík , who will start the spa season in Trenčianske Teplice on May 1 with his very first ride. He will drive every half hour from St. Stephen's Church. The whole of May will run every weekend and holiday from 10.00 to 18.00. During the summer season, June-August, it will be available to visitors to the spa town daily from 1 pm to 6 pm, and on weekends from 10 am.

In Trenčín , after last year's successful premiere, a train with a distinctive name for this city will run again. The Matúš Čák train carried up to 25,000 visitors last year, which is why a completely new, higher-quality train will run under the same name this year. A novelty compared to last year is also the modified route, which will consist of only one circuit. It will start on Štúrovo Square by the Vodník Fountain and will go across the square, through the Brezina Forest Park to the South Fortifications of Trenčín Castle and back.

Matúš Čák will start the season with his first, unofficial ride on May 7, 2022 . The official start of the season will be a day later, on May 8, and will be connected with the event "Fairytale Key to the Castle Treasure" at Trenčín Castle. It will then operate on weekends and public holidays in May and September from 10:00 to 18:00. During the summer, June-August, visitors will be transported from 10:00 to 18:00.

Another monument in the Trenčín region, where you can comfortably travel by red train, is the MR Štefánik Mound . Brezováčik will also operate during the Easter holidays and until the end of May on weekends. In the summer months, June to August, it will run to Bradlo daily at hourly intervals.
