Fragile glass inspiration

Lednické Rovne are known throughout the world with a rich glass tradition. The Schreiber family established this glass-warehouse in 1892 in this West-Slovenian village. Later it became the most modern in Central Europe. Less known is the seat of this glass family, which is a Renaissance mansion in the middle of the village. The mansion was the seat of the Lednice manor since the 16th century. Today, travelers can dazzle the fragile creations of sacrificing glass craftsmen from the oldest to the present. The Slovak Glass Museum in the mansion can be found in a park with several rare foreign plants near the glassworks.
