From the chapel of the chapel and the armory ...

In the area of ​​the parish church under Trenčiansky castle, a Medieval karner (ossuary) is sacrificed, for a while serving as the Chapel of St. John the Baptist. Michala. It was built in the second third of the 15th century near the parish church as a bone. In addition to the castle, Karner is the only preserved Gothic monument in Trenčín. The back wall links to the original city fortification. At the beginning of the 16th century, they built today's overground section. After the fire of the parish church in 1528, it served as a chapel. In 1560, in the context of Turkish dangers, they changed the carnery to the city's arsenal with the metalworking facility in the basement. The building was later dilapidated, but it was renovated between 1973 and 1989.

The interior is decorated with a small but extremely impressive collection of sacral art from the collections of the Trenčín Museum. The visitor finds especially rare fragments of altar complexes and statues of Saints from the Gothic to the Baroque period.
